Staff Accountant
Job Title: Staff AccountantJob Description Join our dynamic accounting team as a Staff Accountant, where you will perform routine accounting tasks and ensure accurate, timely financial recordkeeping. Working under the supervision of the Director of Finance, you will assist with monthly and year-end closing activities, support audits, and help ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities + Ensure compliance with financial transaction recording standards, including general ledger, cash payments/collections, and tax transactions. + Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable and/or Credit & Collections. + Reconcile accounts and records, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and bank accounts. + Prepare accounting reports and schedules for internal management and external compliance reporting. + Assist with cost accounting, including allocation of direct/indirect costs, variance analysis, and budget preparation. + Explain facts, policies, and practices related to the job area. Essential Skills + BS or BA in Accounting or 3+ years of relevant experience. + Strong desire to work autonomously. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Camarillo, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, accrued paid time off, two weeks of vacation, etc. Match 401K Workplace Type This is a fully remote position.
