Staff Accountant **Location:** Pittsburgh, PA **Schedule:** On-site first 90 days, then hybrid (at least 2 days in office / 3 days remote) **Compensation:** $65,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience) We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our clients accounting team based in Pittsburgh. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a project-based, fast-paced environment and wants to grow with a stable, well-established organization. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform day-to-day general ledger accounting activities. + Prepare and assist with financial reporting. + Handle accounts receivable and related reconciliations. + Perform bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations. + Support month-end and year-end close processes. + Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and analysis as needed. **Qualifications:** + Experience: Ideally ~4+ years of accounting experience, but we are flexible for the right candidate (prior Staff Accountant or strong junior accountant experience considered). + Strong preference for experience in project-based industries, such as: + Construction + Architecture + Field service + Oil & gas + Biomedical or other industrial/project environments + Technical Skills: Solid understanding of GL, AR, and reconciliations. + Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus. + Experience with SL, Sage, Oracle, or SAP is considered transferable and valuable. + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
