\n\t\t\t\t\tSummary:\n\nThe Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial reports. The Staff Accountant will support the senior accounting team with day-to-day accounting tasks and contribute to the overall accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records. \n\nResponsibilities: \n•\tMaintain the fixed asset register, including recording new fixed asset acquisitions and retirements. \n•\tPerform monthly depreciation calculations and prepare journal entries to record depreciation expense. \n•\tReconcile fixed asset accounts and resolve any discrepancies. \n•\tReview capital expenditure requests for accuracy and compliance with accounting policies \n•\tMonitor daily cash balances, reconcile bank accounts, and ensure accuracy of cash management transactions. \n•\tPerform monthly bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts. \n•\tReview and reconcile bank statements to GL accounts and identify any discrepancies. \n•\tInvestigate and resolve reconciling items. \n•\tManage intercompany transactions and accounts between multiple entities. \n•\tProvide support for internal and external audits. \n•\tEnsure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and make recommendations for process improvements. \n \nDesired Qualifications: \n•\tAssociate degree in accounting, finance, or related field \n•\tStrong attention to detail and accuracy \n•\tProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel \n•\tExperience with accounting software preferred \n•\tStrong organizational and time management skills \n•\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team \n•\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $42.00/hr.
