Staff Accountant (Reconciliation Specialist) needed in Doral Fl!

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record in vendor reconciliations and general accounting.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed vendor account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts related to accounts payable and vendor transactions.Apply strong understanding of debits and credits to ensure accurate financial entries.Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to gather documentation and resolve outstanding issues.Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage reconciliation templates, pivot tables, and data analysis.Support month-end close activities as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in vendor reconciliations and general accounting.Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, including debits and credits.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Work Environment

The role requires working 5 days in the Doral office with some flexibility where needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Miami, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
