Staff Accountant
Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2+ years of experience in staff accounting. This full-time role requires working on-site in Irvine, where the accountant will handle key financial tasks and collaborate with various departments.

Responsibilities

· Conduct end-of-month close processes.

· Manage accounts receivable for projects and manufacturing.

· Process and perform journal entries & bank reconciliations.

· Assist and guide the accounts payable processor located in Australia.

· Review company timesheets and process payroll on a bi-weekly basis.

· Support project managers with budget to actual analysis.

· Prepare inventory reporting for a customer with a warehouse on-site, liaising with the customer’s finance team.

· Ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Essential Skills

· 2+ years of experience in staff accounting.

· Proficiency in NetSuite is highly preferred.

· Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s.

· Experience with general ledger, reconciliation, month-end, journal entries, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

· Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

· Comfortable with potentially taking on payroll duties, with training provided.

· Looking for someone personable with strong communication skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
