Position Purpose:
Analyzes financial reports and records, and prepares studies or recommendations relative to the accounting for leases, reserves, assets and exenditures.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares and analyzes income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements and various other accounting statements and reports.Reviews and verifies the accuracyof journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.Applies Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and develops or recommends accounting methods and procedures.Instructs or assigns work to bookkeepers, accounting clerks and other associates engaged in general accounting activities.Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions.Participates in financial reporting.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
This position typically reports to a Senior Staff Accounant.No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action).
Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Examples include: telephone operator and file clerk.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must pass the Drug Test.Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses
