Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant with at least 5 years of accounting experience to join our team on a contract basis. This role is open due to a medical leave, and we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training.
ResponsibilitiesPerform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Prepare and post journal entries.Assist with month-end close processes.Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity.Support financial reporting and audits as needed.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial data.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience.Strong understanding of GAAP.Proficiency with accounting software.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.QualificationsA true accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable stepping into a role with limited onboarding.Reliable, proactive, and deadline-driven.Work Environment
This position is in-office from Monday to Friday with flexible start times once up to date on job duties. There is a possibility for work-from-home on Fridays after training
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
