Walmart Global Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Technical Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the development of large-scale, cross-functional programs in a multi-disciplinary environment. About The Team:

The Merchant Technology team is at the forefront of developing and deploying industry-leading merchant planning and supply chain solutions to enable Walmart to continue to drive demand-driven decision making throughout e2e fulfillment, unlock integrated experiences across supply chain operators, and reduce e2e fulfillment friction within WM’s formidable supply chain.


What you'll do:

Serve as the program lead for one or more complex programs by driving software features through the lifecycle phases to successful completion as defined in program's charter; develop and maintain schedules to track milestones; develop and execute plans for managing risk; escalate project-related issues to management in accordance with program guidelines and requirements; manage change control processes; coordinate production issue resolution; interpret data to help guide teams towards issue resolution and risk management; make recommendations regarding solutions to problems or issues; present program status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.      Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs; build commitment for perspectives and rationales.       Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identify business needs; determine and carry out necessary processes and practices; monitor progress and results; recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities; adapt to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.     Model compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; demonstrate and assist others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices. Act as an altruistic servant leader by being consistently humble, self-aware, honest, and transparent. Demonstrate curiosity and a growth mindset; foster an environment that supports learning, innovation, and intelligent risk-taking; exhibit resilience in the face of setbacks.      Seek and implement continuous improvements and encourage the team to leverage new digital tools and ways of working.   Build strong and trusting relationships with team members and business partners; work collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve objectives; communicate with energy and positivity to motivate, influence, and inspire commitment and action.  Create a discipline and focus around developing talent; promote an environment allowing everyone to bring their best selves to work, empower associates and partners to act in the best interest of the customer and company, and regularly recognize others’ contributions and accomplishments.

You have excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills with a strong focus on execution.You drive implementation and deployment for large, complex, and ambiguous programs. You are a proactive problem solver who operates effectively and independently, even in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity. You are a team player, with the courage to drive change through disruption while maintaining a respect for the team. You possess strong collaboration skills and approach problems with positive intent while driving towards resolution. You have great attention to detail and exceptional follow through. You have strong business acumen and demonstrate proficiency in general business disciplines.You can perform successfully in a high performing environment with tight deadlines and manage expectations. You can build relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholders. You have excellent verbal and written communications skills to document and communicate project commitments, progress status, issues, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field and a minimum of 7 years of technical project or program management experience OR You have a master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or MBA and a minimum of 5 years of technical project or program management experience. You have experience with Agile methods including Scrum and Kanban. You have enterprise software engineering program management experience for full SDLC.  You have experience using product backlog management tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project for planning, execution, and release transparency. Should be able to build a project plan – milestones with work breakdown. You can articulate technical concepts in business terms through MS Office tools including MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
