As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll design and build Agentic AI applications that leverage multi-agent orchestration frameworks and Large Language Models (LLMs). Collaborate as well as lead teams from various vendors and within Walmart. Partner with the Business and Product Teams to deliver solutions rapidly. You’ll integrate Generative AI into Walmart’s federated GraphQL data gateway and distributed systems, enabling store managers, team leads, and associates to solve real-world retail challenges at scale.Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Analysis & ScopingPartner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and classify requirements (functional, non-functional, emergent).Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities between business needs and existing solutions.Translate business objectives into Agile-friendly user stories and technical designs.2. Solution Architecture & DesignDesign scalable, distributed, and resilient AI/ML solutions for enterprise use.Present and Defend Architectures as necessary in Architecture Review sessions from a variety of perspectives including Scalability, Resilience, Disaster Recovery, Cloud Cost, Complexity, Maintainability, Sustainability and Operational Excellence.Architect multi-agent orchestration workflows, where specialized AI agents collaborate to solve complex tasks.Convert high-level designs into detailed solution components (mock screens, pseudocode, fun
