About Team:

Content Quality team is part of Catalog and provides the Quality scores of Items onboarded by Sellers and Suppliers. These scores and insights are used to measure quality of an items and to improve it. This in turn increases Search-ability and GMV.

We as Content Quality team work on creating new scoring models and methodology which helps on measuring accuracy, coverage and conformity of an item and assessment on improving the overall Quality of Catalog

What You’ll Do:

Understand business problems and suggest technology solutions.Architect, design, build and deploy technology solutions at scaleRaise the bar on sustainable engineering by improving best practices, producing best in class of code, documentation, testing and monitoring.Estimate effort, identify risks and plan execution.Mentor/coach other engineers in the team to facilitate their development and to provide technical leadership to them.Rise above details as and when needed to spot broader issues/trends and implications for the product/team.

What you’ll bring:

10+ years of experience in design and development of highly -scalable applications development in product-based companies and in delivering enterprise-class applications.Proficiency in building microservices using JAVA like Java, Spring Boot, Scala, SparkSolid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns.Experience with test automation: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing.Experience with Relational Database Design and Implementation.Practical experience in applications using microservices, container technologies, container management systems such as Kubernetes etc and in CI/CD pipelines.Strong experience with Databases design (SQL, NoSQL) and analytics.Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience with databases, cloud, APIs, and other technologies to ensure that the application is scalable, secure, and performant.Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer facing web applicationsPossess basic understanding of AI concepts and foundationsAbility to work collaboratively with AI experts and integrate AI into existing systems as needed, with guidanceProduct management experience, with a deep focus on APIs, developer platforms, or technical integrationsProven success launching developer-facing products (e.g. public APIs, SDKs, OAuth, scoped access, developer portals)Strong technical fluency in how modern web services are built and consumed (REST, OAuth 2.0, scopes, rate limiting, logging/ observability, sandboxing, versioning)Solid foundation in writing scalable application code following best practices of accessibility, internationalization, and instrumentation.Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web and mobile.
