Position Overview

Metro One is seeking a dependable, adaptable SOCC Unarmed Security Supervisor to oversee operations during the afternoon/evening (swing) shift. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to respond effectively to dynamic staffing and operational needs. The Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining safety, compliance, and operational excellence across designated areas.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Oversight

Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations of security officers

Hold officers accountable and implement corrective action plans as needed

Assist the Project Manager with development and refinement of SOPs and operational processes

Implement SOPs and crisis communication plans

Support SOCC Supervisors in managing the guard force

Remain on-call after hours to assist with shift-related issues

Operations & Compliance

Prepare compliance reports and support audits

Measure, track, and report patrol performance metrics

Create weekly patrol schedules and ensure proper coverage

Monitor alarm systems and security camera systems

Security & Patrol Duties

Ensure the safety and security of assigned areas

Conduct patrols in accordance with established procedures

Identify and respond to potential security risks

Complete accurate incident reports and documentation

Ensure proper credentialing (ID badges/passes) for employees and visitors

Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement when required

Assist employees and visitors with questions or concerns

Requirements

Self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity and ability to work independently or within a high-performing team

Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make quick decisions in critical situations

High integrity, professionalism, and exceptional customer service skills

Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities

Advanced computer proficiency, including Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Consistent ability to meet reporting deadlines

Calm, composed demeanor in fast-paced, high-stress environments

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work without direct supervision

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Denver Guard License

Lateral candidates must have no disciplinary actions or attendance issues within the past year

Prior experience in Security, Dispatch, or a minimum of 2 years within a SOCC environment required
