Sr. Treasury Operations Specialist (On-site)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Operations Specialist to lead complex treasury operations supporting the Newrez mortgage origination and sale processes. This role will have significant responsibility in warehouse line strategy, treasury technology initiatives, and cross-functional financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mortgage banking knowledge and the ability to work independently and strategically.

Responsibilities

Oversee the loan funding process across multiple warehouse facilities.Coordinate and monitor daily warehouse fundings, collateral pledges, and wire disbursements.Troubleshoot and resolve funding exceptions or settlement issues with banks, investors, and internal operations teams.Serve as a key point of contact for warehouse lenders, custodians, and banking partners.Collaborate with Secondary Marketing to align warehouse funding schedules with loan sales and investor commitments.Monitor loans aging on warehouse lines and assist in sale solutions.Support all MBS pooling, and whole loan sale processes for multiple products by acting as resource to Capital Markets team.Assist in onboarding new warehouse lines or expanding capacity with existing lenders including new products or initiatives.Create Ad Hoc reporting as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field5–8 years of treasury, banking, or mortgage finance experience, preferably in mortgage lending.Deep knowledge of warehouse line structures, loan sales processes, custodial banking, and GNMA/FNMA/FHLMC requirements.Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and treasury management systemsDetail-oriented with efficient focus on work activities.Strong sense of responsibility for completing work quickly and accuratelyExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within organization as well as external contacts.The ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities as appropriate, while maintaining attention to detail, in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Problem-solving ability and strong analytical skills.
