Key job responsibilities Your leadership will be crucial in: * Driving strategic initiatives that balance technical innovation with business impact * Breaking down complex challenges into actionable plans * Anticipating bottlenecks and orchestrating cross-functional solutions * Making smart trade-offs that keep us moving toward our mission Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of hardware, software, system integration and test development of complex systems across the full product life cycle – concept to production. - 3+ years in a technical lead, systems engineer, or technical program management role with significant experience architecting and integrating HW and SW into a complex system. - 3+ years leading cross-functional teams delivering products on schedule. - Proficiency with at least one schedule tracking tools such as MS Project, SmartSheet or alternative. Preferred Qualifications - Masters's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Experience with high volume manufacturing test methods, concepts and solutions. - Ability to lead interdisciplinary discussions between Hardware, Reliability, and Firmware teams to define and drive scope and clarity of work, and reach optimum system level trades. - Experience in high speed characterization of devices, operation of high speed and high frequency test equipment, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and high-speed oscilloscopes. - Experience developing high-performance systems for aerospace applications. - Experience in automated testing and system characterization. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Track record of successfully delivering complete systems (hardware, firmware, software) on time, to scope, with high quality. - Ability to regularly engage with senior stake holders and influence across the organization. - Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines. - High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
