ARCO is currently seeking a Sr. Manager of Total Rewards to join our team in our Brentwood, MO office. This role will oversee benefits, retirement plans, and compensation, for our 6B organization across 46 U.S. cities, Canada, and future international markets.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success leading total rewards teams, have self-insurance and compensation experience, and be a confident presenter.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Design and implement communication and education strategies that help employees and leaders understand the full value of their total rewards.Lead the design, annual planning, and implementation of company benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, ancillary, and wellness initiatives.Research, evaluate, and identify opportunities to improve or change current benefit offerings to ensure alignment with the business strategy and external competitiveness.  Proactively manage self-insured health plans by analyzing claims and utilization trends to drive cost-effective and employee-friendly strategies.Advise management on applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations that impact benefits, retirement plans, and compensation policies and ensure all plans remain compliant. Manage relationships and communications between consultants, administrative vendors, and insurance carriers to ensure quality of service and adherence to company standards.Assist in the development of competitive pay structures and practice by utilizing a variety of market data sources.Conduct various compensation analyses, prepare summaries, and educate stakeholders on the data.Manage the annual merit processes including cross departmental timelines and communication.Identify process improvement opportunities and risks and effectively document processes and related control checks.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

10-15 years of experience in HR Total Rewards functions, including benefits, compensation, and retirement plan administration, with progressive manager level experience requiredBachelor’s degree required, Masters preferredAdvanced knowledge of compensation benchmarking survey tools and demonstrated experience in compensation plan design and implementationSelf-insured health insurance administration requiredESOP retirement plan experience preferredAbility to build strong relationships with stakeholders across our businessA confident, influential communicator and presenterExcellent organizational and planning skillsSuperior project management and time management skills
