Role Summary As a Sr. Technical Program Manager, you will lead the end-to-end scoping, tracking and program delivery of Cloud and Streaming services and applications. Key responsibilities include participation in product initiation and definition phase, planning with engineering teams and committing accordingly to cross-functional teams and external partners. Proactively manage risks, balance cost and schedule, and ensure clear communication of program status. Be the key advocate for Cloud and Streaming initiatives in our Data & AI Org, represent the teams in different org-wide forums. This role is located at our Palo Alto, California office and reports directly to the Director, Cloud and Streaming Apps. Responsibilities Lead the development of scalable cloud infrastructure and streaming platforms to support various applications and services. Manage the integration of cloud-based APIs and services, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability. Scope out project plans to track metrics, error reporting systems, and pipelines for cloud and streaming services. Coordinate with teams implementing cloud-native solutions and streaming protocols to enable efficient data processing and delivery. Partner with product development and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve integration challenges within the cloud and streaming ecosystem. Lead design reviews, drive integration solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations for cloud and streaming projects. Generate meaningful metrics and provide regular updates on program deliverables for cloud and streaming initiatives. Act as a key problem-solver and roadblock remover, communicating updates across teams. Engage with Product Development and Software teams to address critical paths and challenges in cloud and streaming development. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience on a program team or equivalent. Experience in product release, cloud platform management, and distributed data architectures. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, from design to production, with a focus on cloud and streaming technologies. Understanding of Automotive or other IoT systems is preferred. Proven track record with software development project planning, progress tracking, and risk management. Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams, including ability to represent formative ideas and complex relationships, subjects using collaboration and AI-based tools Understanding of cloud computing principles (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink) is preferable. Ability to navigate ambiguous problems and create new collaboration frameworks. Experience with Atlassian/Jira and automation in Program Management is a big plus. Pay Disclosure Salary Range for Palo Alto, California Based Applicants: $132,100 - $165,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
