As a Senior Technical Program Manager on the Mobile Device Management team, you will lead the development and deployment of critical mobile device solutions across Amazon's global operations. You will work closely with software engineering, product, and operations teams to drive the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of the devices and associated software that power our fulfillment and logistics networks. Key job responsibilities
- Manage large-scale, cross-functional programs to deliver mobile device management capabilities on time and to requirements
- Partner with engineering teams to define technical roadmaps, scope projects, and coordinate delivery of new features and enhancements
- Challenge system designs to ensure simplicity, security, scalability, performance and cost optimization
- Establish processes and metrics to ensure high quality, reliable performance, and timely release of mobile solutions
- Represent the team and program status to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with product management, operations, and other stakeholders to align on priorities and drive successful outcomes

About the team
The Mobile Device Management team at Amazon manages all mobile devices used across its global operations. The team consists of software, systems, and program management experts who design and build custom solutions to manage hundreds of thousands of devices. They focus on high-quality development, release management, and setting mobile device strategy to ensure the devices meet the company's current and future needs.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
- 3+ years of software development experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
