**Position Title:** Sr. Technical Product Owner – SAP Order to Cash & Commerce Cloud (Strategy & Management)
**Position Overview**
CuraScript SD is a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor providing customized business solutions and access to specialty medications for community physicians, specialty pharmacies, and health systems. The organization is a wholly owned subsidiary of Evernorth, a Cigna company.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Senior Technical Product Owner** for **SAP Order to Cash (SD)** and **Commerce Cloud** to join our Technology organization. This senior-level Agile role is responsible for ensuring alignment to product vision, principles, and multi‑year strategy. Acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, this position drives the product roadmap for integrated e‑commerce and order management capabilities.
The Senior Technical Product Owner provides deep domain expertise, technical product leadership, and strategic guidance across complex SAP environments. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role owns critical product decisions, backlog prioritization (in partnership with technical product owners), and solution integrity across SAP SD and Commerce Cloud. The ideal candidate will balance near‑term delivery needs with long‑term platform scalability, compliance, and alignment to enterprise strategy.
**Responsibilities**
**Strategic Vision & Leadership**
+ Define and communicate the end‑to‑end product vision and technical strategy spanning sales order management, pricing, billing, and customer experience across OTC and Commerce Cloud (S/4 and Digital).
+ Guide configuration and solution design decisions that balance SAP standard capabilities with evolving business needs.
+ Partner with Finance, Operations, and Compliance to ensure holistic process and data integrity across the value chain.
**Backlog & Delivery Management**
+ Collaborate with technical product owners to prioritize the full technical backlog, including non-functional requirements, platform maintenance, and technical debt.
+ Translate business objectives into actionable technical requirements and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
**Stakeholder Engagement & Communication**
+ Articulate complex technical concepts in clear business language for leaders and stakeholders.
+ Act as a bridge between business product managers and technical delivery teams to define and refine functional and technical specifications.
**Technical Guidance & Architecture Alignment**
+ Drive high‑level decisions related to architecture, infrastructure, and system design feasibility.
+ Partner with engineering teams to support custom development that complements standard SAP functionality.
**Team Leadership & Coaching**
+ Mentor and guide product owners and development teams to ensure alignment, collaboration, and delivery quality.
+ Champion standardization, continuous improvement, and best practices across the SAP SD and Commerce Cloud landscape.
**Operational Excellence**
+ Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure readiness across data, process, compliance, and change management for all releases.
+ Serve as a senior escalation point for complex or systemic production issues, leading root cause analysis and long‑term remediation planning.
**Qualifications**
**Required**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
+ 10+ years plus of hands‑on experience with SAP Order to Cash, including at least 5 years plus with S/4HANA.
+ Deep functional and technical expertise in SD areas such as sales order management, pricing/taxation, contracts, billing, returns, credit/debit processing, delivery scheduling, ATP, intercompany/third‑party scenarios, MTO/STO, logistics execution, and EDI/IDoc processing.
+ Strong knowledge of SAP SD and Commerce Cloud integrations, ensuring reliable orchestration of order capture, pricing, availability, and customer data across platforms.
+ Broad integration experience across EDI, IDocs, and cross‑module SAP environments.
**Preferred**
+ Experience in pharmaceutical distribution, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
+ Deep understanding of SAP SD integrations with PTP, FICO, Vistex, and EWM.
+ Experience supporting large‑scale implementations, migrations, or enterprise transformation programs.
+ Prior Big Four consulting experience.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 115,600 - 192,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
