The Position
The Organon Quality Management & Lab (QML) Systems Team will be responsible for the operation, support, delivery, and enhancement of Organon’s IT systems supporting the Quality Business Unit.
Strong knowledge is required for both Quality Management processes, such as Customer Complaints, Deviations, Change Control, Document Management, Risk Management, and Audits, and Lab Information systems and supporting processes, such as Digital Lab Record, LIMS, Empower, ELN, Tulip etc….
As a Senior Specialist, Technical Analyst in the QML Systems team, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing IT systems within Organon’s Quality Business Unit. This position involves leveraging advanced technical skills to manage Quality Management processes and Lab Information Systems.
Responsibilities
Provide specialized technical support and analysis to the QMS and Q&L Value Team, ensuring high-quality operational service for Organon Quality business partners.
Lead efforts to analyze and enhance the QML technology stack, driving productivity improvements in alignment with Value Team program processes.
Collaborate with functional stakeholders to develop and implement strategic IT initiatives within the QML domain.
Work closely with Quality business colleagues to support the execution of complex business strategies.
Manage technical operations of IT systems within the QML domain, ensuring efficient and effective support.
Coordinate with software vendors to optimize the performance of QML systems and contribute to strategic roadmap development.
Partner with cross-functional IT teams to enhance IT services within the Quality domain.
Support resource management for advanced Life Cycle and Value-driven projects, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with Organon’s SDLC standards and contribute to initiatives enhancing team competencies.
Address and prioritize complex business needs from Quality business partners, contributing to ongoing development of the QML roadmap and portfolio.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment to support Organon Quality business.
Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to drive improvements within Quality systems solutions.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Science, Business, or related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
5+ years experience in IT or technical support roles, with exposure to Quality Management and Lab Systems preferred.
Strong understanding of Quality Management processes, including Customer Complaints, Deviations, Change Management, and Document Control.
Proven ability to develop IT solutions across business domains.
Extensive knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks, including Data Integrity and SDLC validation.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in project management and resource coordination.
Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills to achieve strategic objectives.
