As a Sr. Staff Product Manager, you will define and execute on the future of autonomous accounting by building the Agentic Month-End Close engine for the Intuit Enterprise Suite. You will transform the traditional, manual financial close into a continuous, real-time experience that eliminates the "month-end crunch" for mid-market and enterprise firms. By leveraging advanced AI and agentic workflows, you will automate complex reconciliations, financial consolidations, and reporting. You will lead a high-impact team of data scientists, engineers, and designers to deliver an autonomous financial system that scales with complex, large businesses.
Focus Area: Agentic Month-End CloseYour mission is to move beyond "automation" toward autonomous finance. You will specifically focus on transforming the Month-End Close from a reactive, multi-week effort into a proactive, continuous engine. This agentic product will utilize AI agents to monitor transactions in real-time, execute complex adjusting entries, manage cross-organizational eliminations, and ensure that the ledger is "audit-ready" at all times. You will eliminate manual data manipulation and shift the role of the Controller from "data processor" to "strategic reviewer."
Responsibilities
Continuous Ledger Reconciliation: Design agentic workflows that automatically reconcile sub-ledgers (AR, AP, Inventory) to the General Ledger in real-time, utilizing AI to resolve the vast majority of discrepancies autonomously.
Automated Accruals & Deferrals: Build AI models that monitor contract performance and vendor spend to automatically calculate and post necessary accruals and deferrals, ensuring GAAP/IFRS compliance.
Organizational Consolidation & Intercompany Flows: Develop workflows to automate the elimination of intercompany transactions and manage data consolidation across complex business structures, ensuring a seamless, unified financial view.
Autonomous Revenue Recognition: Automated revenue recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15), managing complex arrangements and deferred revenue schedules at large business scale.
Smart Financial Controls: Implement agentic oversight of financial controls (SOX-ready), where AI agents audit transactions for policy violations or fraud as they occur.
Agentic Close Management: Define and deliver the "Closing Cockpit," a generative AI-powered engine designed to transform the month-end close through proactive exception handling, audit-ready reporting, and strategic variance analysis. This agentic solution autonomously predicts and resolves closing bottlenecks—such as missing documentation or pending approvals—while simultaneously generating comprehensive flux analyses, board-ready financial statements, and supporting schedules for external auditors.
Strategic Roadmap & Vision: Build and own a quarterly rolling 12-month roadmap that aligns with Intuit’s 3-year enterprise vision.
Cross-Functional Catalyst: Engage with executive stakeholders to ensure the Agentic Close engine is deeply integrated into the core platform ecosystem.
Qualifications
12+ years in Product Management: Specifically within Enterprise ERP, Financial Close Automation, or Fintech.
Deep Customer Empathy: Has deep customer empathy, with a proven ability to translate complex "unmet needs" into foundational product requirements.
Agentic & AI Expertise: Proven experience building AI-native products, leveraging LLMs or Agentic Frameworks to automate multi-step business logic.
Enterprise Financial Domain Expert: Deep expertise in the financial close process and expert-level knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP.
Platform Thinking: A track record of building "extensible" financial systems that handle high-volume transaction sets and complex data schemas.
Complex Organizational Scale: Experience scaling financial systems for organizations managing sophisticated structures, diverse revenue streams, and global operations.
API & Data Architecture Fluency: Ability to design how financial data flows through distributed systems to maintain a "Single Source of Truth."
Strategic Evangelism: Expert at synthesizing customer VOC and competitive intelligence to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
