JOB TITLE: Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff

JOB LOCATION: 200 S Laurel Blvd Ave, Middletown, NJ 07748

DUTIES: Conduct design and development work in the areas of new products, technologies, systems-platform architecture, hardware-software development engineering, technical security, and QA. Design and conducts quantitative, algorithmic and theory-based analysis for addressing business issues. Work on information extraction and synthesis, data mining, data visualization, network design and optimization, market and financial analysis, operations research, and decision support systems. Work primarily on involve new and emerging technologies and technical architectures on projects with a status between inception and implementation and software maturity. Design, assess, standardize system development, analysis and testing of infrastructure and services that use network and systems technologies. Serve as subject matter expert during the continuous integration and continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering, and development. Development of innovative tools to enhance network controllers’ ability to monitor and report on diverse devices across multiple locations. Work on network automation initiatives, including 5G and other advanced technologies. Work on automation of test cases for several key projects that involved major technology vendors like Juniper, Cisco, Arista, and Ciena. Work primarily focuses on ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure. Critical in validating network automation, scalability, and security, directly impacting the successful deployment of our 5G services. Subject matter expert in automations, networking, remote technology applications, machine learning, and application development using ML. Conduct development work for cutting-edge solutions in telecommunications service automation across various layers, including Layer 1 optical, Layer 2 Ethernet, and Layer 3 IP.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology and Four (4) years of experience in the job offered, or Four (4) years of experience in a related occupation conducting design and development work in the areas of new products, technologies, systems-platform architecture, hardware-software development engineering, technical security and QA; and working on information extraction and synthesis, data mining, data visualization, network design and optimization, market and financial analysis, operations research, and decision support systems.
