Sr. Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

What this job involves:

As a Sr. Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you will manage the complete process of both incoming and outgoing packages at JLL facilities. Your responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and documenting deliveries, packaging and preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with carriers, and keeping warehouse areas organized and clean. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Receive and unload shipments from trucks, inspecting packages for damage and verifying contents against purchase ordersUpdate inventory records systematically and stock items in their proper locations within the warehousePack outgoing items securely using appropriate materials and create shipping labels with necessary documentationMaintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods and conduct regular inventory countsKeep receiving and shipping areas clean, organized, and safe according to established protocolsComplete required paperwork for shipments including tracking, shipping, and delivery informationCommunicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to coordinate shipping and delivery schedules
 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to lift up to 35+ pounds regularlyExtended periods of standing, walking, and physical activityWork in warehouse environment with varying temperatures
 

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail for accurately verifying contents, updating records, and selecting correct itemsExcellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and maintaining accurate inventory recordsStrong communication skills for coordinating with carriers, vendors, and internal departmentsTechnical proficiency with computers, office equipment, and warehouse management softwarePhysical ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods (35+ pounds)
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operationsFamiliarity with inventory management systemsExperience with various shipping carriers and their systems
