Sr. Quantitative Analyst - Sr. Associate

We are seeking a top-tier Sr. Quantitative Analyst to join our team of high-caliber data scientists and quantitative analysts. The Chase Auto Data & Analytics team unifies data and analytics talent across Chase to responsibly leverage data to build competitive advantages for our businesses with value and protection for customers.

As a Sr. Quantitative Analyst within the Chase Auto Data & Analytics team, you will be part of a high-caliber analytics team charged with the responsibility of driving business performance using insightful data analytics and reporting. The Auto D&A team utilizes data, analytics, visualization, and advanced analytics to drive meaningful impacts for our customers, dealers, and partners. We approach problems inquisitively and with a desire to find solutions in our data.

Job Responsibilities:

Leverage technical skills to develop SQL code to mine large complex data sets (via Toad, Alteryx, etc.)Use critical thinking skills to learn the business process, identify ROE opportunities, and use analytics to develop initiatives to capitalize on those opportunitiesCreate analytical or statistical models (e.g., Python) as a solution when a business opportunity is identifiedHarness leadership skills which allow you to work independently, take ownership, and accountability of the projects assigned to youAlign to evolving business priorities and deliver on strategic solutions that drive successful execution on those prioritiesDesign and develop rich visualization dashboards that efficiently summarize performance metrics and KPIs and provide self-serve capability to the end-users in intuitive and meaningful waysCoordinate with multiple business partners to ensure that all business needs and projects are appropriately identified, prioritized, and executed. Manage delivery in agile formatProvide strategic partnership on executing on data strategy that promotes modern data architecture, governance, and democratization of data access

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or other relevant field and 5 years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree is preferred.Strong oral and written communication skills to clearly communicate solutions/recommendations to end usersTrack record of executing large-scale automation initiatives using data exploration, enrichment, and preparation tools such as AlteryxSubject matter expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and ability to identify best practices and uphold highest standards of quality in dashboards and analytical solutionsExperience with big data technologies and programming languages including Python, Spark, or Scala.Solid proficiency in developing reporting solutions and providing data analytics.Ability to perform independent research and discovery around data environments, processes, and tools and provide impactful solutionsAbility to adapt to new technologies and data tools and work independently as well as within a cooperative, team environmentAbility to manage execution and delivery of multiple projects in an agile manner and adapt to changing business priorities while still meeting delivery deadlines.

Advanced degree in a relevant fieldExperience in modernizing reporting and analytics delivery infrastructureAbility to foster innovation including Big Data technologies along with the development of programs to train and enhance associate skillsets
