Job Title: Sr Project Scheduler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr Scheduler to join our team. The successful candidate will create, develop, and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules, utilizing industry best practices in schedule management. You will focus on designing and deploying Earned Value Management (EVM) systems for a complex technical organization and contribute to the EVM rollout and implementation across the organization.
Responsibilities
Create, develop, and maintain schedule baselines, including connections between project elements and enterprise-wide development schedules.Utilize Primavera P6 Scheduling Software for both basic and advanced scheduling functions.Perform Earned Value Management analysis for project cost analysis, performance, and risk management.Conduct schedule analysis, including critical path and float analysis, and prepare related reports.Perform schedule health-checks/audits using industry best practices and internally developed evaluation criteria.Support risk, issue, and change management processes through schedule impact analysis.Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to collect progress and performance updates.Conduct Schedule Management trainings and provide feedback to junior team members.Essential Skills
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced scheduling functions.Significant experience with designing and deploying EVM systems for complex scheduling applications.Hands-on experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.Fifteen plus years of experience in schedule management, project management, or related industry.Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Engineering, Science, or other Technical Degree.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with scheduling management software such as Microsoft Project.Understanding of schedule impacts for DOE/DOD/nuclear fleet industry elements is advantageous.Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $66.00 - $84.00/hr.
