Sr. Project Manager
**Senior Technical Project Manager – Data & Infrastructure** Employment: 12 Month Contract Location: Remote USA (EST Hours) **Overview** The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering large‑scale, complex projects that significantly enhance the Bank’s technology and data capabilities. This role requires a strategic, forward‑thinking leader who can drive enterprise transformation, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of multi‑track technical initiatives. The ideal candidate combines deep business acumen with strong technical understanding across modern data environments, and can independently own projects from inception to completion. **Key Responsibilities** + Lead the full project lifecycle—from planning, scoping, and design through delivery, implementation, and post‑deployment stabilization. + Drive large, multi‑track **data infrastructure and architecture initiatives** with significant enterprise impact. + Serve as a strategic thought partner to IT and business leaders, helping shape project direction and influence organizational change beyond project boundaries. + Manage project schedules, risks, financials, milestones, and KPIs; provide clear and proactive communication to stakeholders at all levels. + Coordinate and align cross‑functional IT teams with business units to ensure cohesive execution and adoption. + Apply advanced project management practices to both technical and non‑technical workstreams. + Provide leadership, direction, and influence to project teams and stakeholders without direct authority. + Prepare executive‑ready reporting on progress, dependencies, resource needs, risks, and overall strategic impact. **Required Experience & Skills** + **10+ years of Project Management experience** , with proven ownership of enterprise‑level technical initiatives. + Demonstrated ability to **lead and influence** diverse stakeholders and cross‑functional teams. + Exceptional communication, collaboration, and executive‑level reporting skills. + Hands‑on experience managing **multi‑track data infrastructure and data architecture projects** . + Background delivering projects within **Netezza, DB2, EDW, and SQL‑based platforms** . + Deep experience in modern data ecosystems, including: + Enterprise Data Platforms + Data Governance & Data Quality + Data Ingestion & Integration + Data Domains & Master Data Management + Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Analytics + Data Consumption & Visualization + Data Lineage & Data Controls (especially Data Movement Controls) + Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight, taking full accountability for project outcomes.
