We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a well-established, family-oriented general contractor specializing in managing construction projects through trusted subcontractors. The company operates with a hands-on leadership style, a close-knit team environment, and an annual revenue of approximately $45M–$50M. The Senior Project Manager will lead mid- to large-scale projects, including ground-up builds, renovations, and tenant improvements. The environment is supportive, flexible, and emphasizes quality and client relationships.
ResponsibilitiesLead projects ranging from $1M+ to larger active projects of $5M–$25M.Manage construction projects including ground-up builds, renovations, and tenant improvements.Coordinate and oversee subcontractors on ground-up and various projects.Estimate and manage smaller projects independently from start to finish.Ensure project forecasting and scheduling are carried out effectively.Maintain excellent presentation and client-facing communication.Maintain strong tenure and demonstrate a stable work history.Essential SkillsAt least 5 years of experience working in a general contractor environment.Senior Project Manager experience or experience managing construction projects of $1M+.OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.Hands-on construction background in carpentry, electrical, trades, or fieldwork.Tech-savvy with proficiency in Bluebeam and Procore; familiarity with Viewpoint Team or similar.U.S. citizenship required for utility/government site projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working behind secure gates in utilities, government, or similar facilities.ISNetworld or similar safety compliance experience.Supermarket, industrial, or utility-facility experience.Experience with projects ranging from $5M–$15M+.Experience with Edison or SoCal Gas projects.Work EnvironmentThe work environment offers a mix of office, field, and work-from-home settings with approximately 50% in the office, 30-40% in the field, and the remainder from home. The schedule is highly flexible, with rare nights required unless on tenant improvement work such as supermarkets, and very rare on-call after hours. There are no weekend duties, minimal travel with projects assigned based on proximity to the project manager's residence, allowing for a 1-2 hour commute from home. The environment is autonomy-driven, providing significant flexibility and support.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72.00 - $86.60/hr.
