**Position Title: Senior Program Manager – Security Hardening Program**
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly experienced **Senior Program Manager** to lead the delivery of the Security Hardening program. This contract-to-hire role involves oversight of multiple programs and close coordination with senior leadership and delivery teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership presence and proven experience managing large, multi-team programs. **Cybersecurity experience is strongly preferred but not required.**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Define, implement, and deliver complex programs requiring cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across projects and related activities.
+ Deliver programs within scope, quality, timeline, and budget, managing multiple moderate-probability, moderate-impact risk factors.
+ Engage in program-level strategic planning, interact with executive leadership, resolve complex issues, and demonstrate excellent communication and team-building skills.
+ Manage internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and enhancements that meet business requirements.
+ Oversee:
+ Project scope definition and management
+ Requirements gathering and documentation
+ Time estimation and project scheduling
+ Budget management
+ Project status reporting
+ Issue and risk management
+ Contingency planning
+ Customer interaction and multi-level communication
**Skills & Experience**
+ Strong experience in project estimating, scheduling, tracking, customer management, and implementation planning in large organizations.
+ Proven people management and team-building skills.
+ Flexible and adaptable decision-making in changing environments with competing priorities.
+ Ability to quickly learn business processes and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at multiple levels.
+ Strong risk assessment and management skills applied to technology applications and business functions.
+ Experience delivering technology and business solutions in large-scale, multi-platform systems environments.
+ Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
+ **Required:** PMP or PMI certification.
+ **Required:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
+ **Preferred:** MBA or other related advanced degree.
**Specialty Justification**
This role is classified as a specialty position due to:
+ Experience managing and overseeing multiple programs simultaneously.
+ Strong executive-level engagement and communication skills.
+ Proven track record managing large multi-million-dollar program budgets.
+ Cybersecurity experience strongly preferred, given the nature of the Security Hardening Program.
+ Leadership presence and ability to coordinate with senior leaders and delivery teams.
**Top Three Must-Haves**
1. Proven experience managing large application implementation and multi-year programs.
2. Experience managing large, multi-million-dollar program budgets.
3. Ability to collaboratively develop overarching strategies with stakeholders and define program structure and requirements.
**Preferred Experience**
+ Strongly prefer candidates with **healthcare industry experience** due to the significant learning curve involved in deploying applications in healthcare settings.
**Soft Skills**
+ Excellent relationship-building skills, especially across multiple technology operating groups.
+ Highly effective communication skills to clearly articulate program needs and plans to executive leadership.
