Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Beavercreek, OH. The successful candidates will demonstrate a broad skill set balanced between interpersonal and technical capabilities achieving sustainable quality products. They will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Support NSIC modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) efforts using SysML and MBSE capabilitiesConstruct and maintain data/information pipelines between authoritative-source-of-truth (ASOT) database, intel sources, various MS&A environments (e.g., AFSIM, Ansys STK) and Cameo/MagicDraw through API hooks and SysML templatesArchitect and implement automated model generation techniques from source data and reportsFacilitate secure translation of metadata (e.g., classification levels, sources, and confidences contained within a given intel product) across databases, MS&A environments, and MBSE modelsApply versioning control and updates to existing threat models based on new data, simulation results, and reverse engineering outputsQuantify source data/metadata and engineering inference impacts on models/outputsCollaborate with a multi-organizational team including analysts, other engineers, and government/DoD personnelApply additional multidisciplinary techniques such as building AI/ML models to process and analyze large, high-dimensional, and/or noncontinuous datasetsComply with relevant DoD/IC guidelines, e.g., ICDs 203, 206, and 208

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 8 years’ experience OR a Master’s degree with 6 years’ experience.Active TS/SCI clearance3-5 years relevant experienceExperience with MBSE tools and techniques such as Cameo/MagicDraw and SysMLFamiliarity with MS&A environments such as AFSIMEffective communication and collaboration skills

Primary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
