We are looking for you to join our team as an I&T Systems Engineer based out of Baltimore, MD. As part of the Systems Engineering Integration & Test functional homeroom, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for supporting system-level hardware DVT & ATP scripting & testing.
What You’ll get to Do:
We are looking for a 1st shift Receiver Exciter Integration and Test Systems Engineer. These responsibilities will include:
Operate REX bench and execute test procedures for ATP and DVTDevelop new test cases and troubleshoot existing hardware controlsEvaluate Hardware performanceCreate analysis tools primarily in MATLAB and CGenerate documentation of I&T processes and proceduresTroubleshooting hardware failuresEffective communication with team leadership and multi-disciplinary teamsStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate internally and external team membersAbility to communicate test failures and support troubleshooting effortInterface with hardware and systems engineers in support of troubleshooting and verification.Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 8 years of engineering experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields OR a Master's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 6 years of engineering experience OR a PhD in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 4 years of engineering experienceExperience with RF Hardware and test equipmentKnowledge and experience with systems hardwareExperience troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware integration issuesFamiliarity with executing MATLAB scriptsTroubleshooting system hardware and software configurationsActive DoD Secret Clearance or higher and ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance is requiredAbility to work full-time onsite in Baltimore, MDPreferred Qualifications
Experience writing and running MATLAB scripts in MATE (MATLAB Automated Test Environment).Experience executing formal test procedures in a lab environmentThis position is contingent upon clearance and special program access.
Primary Level Salary Range: $135,800.00 - $203,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
