As a Sr. Principal Data Software Engineer (Level 4), you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions within a fast-paced CI/CD environment. You’ll work as part of an agile Scrum team, collaborating with like-minded professionals while tackling challenging and impactful problems. This position combines analytical expertise, technical innovation, and mission-driven purpose, all while contributing to the success of the space command and control systems.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) discipline with 8+ years of data software engineering experience; or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6+ years of experience; or Ph.D. with 4+ years of experienceActive DoD Top Secret clearance required at the time of application, with the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain an SCI access and Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly)Experience developing data management solutions with Java and PythonStrong knowledge of mathematical models and the ability to apply advanced algorithmsExperience developing production software in an agile development lifecyclePreferred Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
