To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What You’ll Be Doing** As the Senior Portfolio Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Enterprise Channels LOB (Line of Business) Transformation / Strategic programs & Maintain Operations (MOPs) budget, including planning, business case development, benefits tracking, projects delivery schedules and preparation of material to review project portfolio updates with the executive audience. You will also be responsible for financial governance, including monitoring portfolio spend and provide forecasts in adherence with Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF) governance processes and procedures for all projects and programs in the Enterprise Channels portfolio. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._ **How You’ll Succeed** + **Financial Strategy & Planning** **–** Lead the Transformation / Strategic programs & Maintain Operations (MOPs) budget fiscal planning process, working with internal partners, Finance and TI&I PMO (TI&I Program Management Office). Actively participate in discussions on the prioritization of initiatives based on return on investment and investment sizing include categorization of capital vs. expense. Ensure that portfolio issues, risks and opportunities are proactively identified, with appropriate adjustments made to the plan. + **Business Cases -** Build business cases, including identification of benefits. Complete Triage gates and various assessments that are required for each PFR (Project Funding Request). Conduct return on investment analysis, NPV, IRR and Payback and facilitate the business case signoff, working with Technology, TI&I PMO and Finance teams. + **Budgets -** Track capital and expense spend on all Contact Centre Projects vs plan and latest forecasts for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. Provide monthly pipeline forecasts. Manage the MOPS portfolio to ensure year end results are at or under plan; develop mitigation tactics through the year, as required. + **Reporting** **-** Enter planned fiscal plans into reporting systems PRF/PMLE and monitor progress against plan. Build and report on project financials. Prepare monthly portfolio status reports, both spend to date and forward looking, to ensure effective monitoring and tracking. Strong excel skills required analyzing and reporting in this role. + **Communication & Relationship Management** **-** Meet monthly with Senior Executives, the Business PM, Technology PMs and other key stakeholders to update the status, project schedules, milestones, financials and benefits on each project to ensure these on track and take appropriate measures and escalations where there are risks.
