The Sr. Planner will provide logistical support for Gartner’s Corporate Events and Incentive program.
What you will do:
Oversee all pieces of the event planning process, by leveraging best practicesCollaboration with Gartner Business Units to support their event objectives – research and propose recommendations for all event elements to relevant Business Unit stakeholders, for both in-person and virtual eventsPlan, manage and execute various elements of the event – including, but not limited to:Collaboration with Global Registration vendor on registration website, reporting, tracking and monitoring of registrations from pre-event through post-eventWork closely with IT team to understand needs for virtual events, manage onsite Teams channels and escalation pointsProduce and manage hotel specifications, menus, and on-site logisticsWork closely with production team to understand Audio Visual needsOversee travel, transportation and hotel arrangements for attendees and staff for Corporate EventsCollaboration with creative journey & branding team and other event partners on the production of branding either onsite or on virtual portalAnswer questions from internal and external clients about eventsProduce and manage Special events and offsite functions for attendeesConstantly evaluate the event experience, feedback and results and implement changes accordinglyWhat you will need:
Bachelor's degree preferred3-5 years events/project management experienceResults-oriented drive and a solid work ethicOutstanding written and verbal communications skillsSuperior poise and judgment (demonstrated “grace under pressure”) with both internal and external constituenciesProven project management skillsCompetent in Excel and PowerPointExcellent time management and prioritization skillsExceptional attention to detailProactive problem-solving skillsStrong service ethic and superior executive presenceStrong record of achievement in current positionFinancial/budget management experienceWillingness to travel domestic and international up to 25 – 30%#LI-JT4

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 83,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
