Your impact
As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will own and drive end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across the assigned payroll portfolio. You will act as a trusted expert, proactively identifying improvements, managing risks, and supporting audits, while contributing to a smooth and compliant payroll experience for employees and stakeholders.

End-to-end payroll processing using the Hargal payroll systemFull responsibility for payroll administration, including benefits, compliance, tax, and financial year-end activitiesInvolvement in internal and external audits, finance queries, banking, and treasury-related activitiesManagement of payroll payments and all related compliance administrationOpportunity to support and train team members, sharing knowledge and best practicesParticipation in process improvement initiatives and small-scale payroll projectsExposure to cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and external partnersActive role in ensuring compliance with GDPR, company policies, and regulatory requirementsWhat you need to succeed
5+ years of payroll experience, with strong knowledge of payroll systems and processesExperience with Hargal payroll system or similar platformsSolid understanding of payroll accounting, reconciliations, and compliance processesExperience in end-of-employment processes (including notifications, 161 forms, Section 14, and severance law)Knowledge of onboarding processes and implementation of different contract types (monthly/hourly)Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with incomplete or complex dataStrong attention to detail, organization, and time management skillsAbility to perform root cause analysis, manage risks, and improve processesConfident communicator who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholdersSelf-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and guide othersOne Last Thing
