The Snr Manager Technology (KYC Engineering) is responsible for the design, Technology development and support of the KYC Platform coordinating with multiple development teams across the Organization. This entails leading a Tech Team, aligning with other delivery Teams, Vendors and Senior management to follow a product vision, delivering a prioritized product backlog, managing delivery blockers. The Snr Manager KYC Engineering should always be considering how to maximize value, assessing how the product or the delivery process can be continuously improved, contributes to a positive work environment and ensures that work embodies the Agile principles of transparency, collaboration, and engagement. This role will primarily support KYC Product for AMCB (US)
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute KYC (Know Your Customer) Technology strategy & planning process to establish priorities and drive change across the organization.
Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of business capabilities to effectively enable KYC program and to execute, and evolve long term Product /Business Capability Roadmaps.
Challenge the norm and provide the thought leadership in KYC required control solutions which meet regulatory expectation and deliver the best-in-class customer and colleague experience.
Work with senior business and Tech leaders to ensure our product capabilities and solutions are functionally aligned with requirements and that a fit for purpose solution is designed, with the support from AVP, KYC Engineering.
Mobilize teams & ensures alignment, manage interdependencies, prioritize with other partners to achieve the value.
Collaborate with Governance, Information Security, & engineering teams to guide the design and Implementation of frameworks, standards, and processes to meet banks Audit & Compliance requirements.
Supports any regulator exam, audit, or other relevant control execution and review of the KYC Products.
Govern vendor services and risks associated to KYC Products
Depth & Scope:
Role generally supports a significant business area, product group, Enterprise Platform, Service or Capability under a Segment CIO or technology functional area
Sets work direction at an operational level, works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business or technology leaders to establish and execute on common goals with a medium to longer term business perspective
Expert knowledge of the business and bank technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications) from a strategic perspective and managing/ directing teams and projects
Sound knowledge of external competition, emerging, industry and/or market trends in relation to own business
Integrator role that oversees various technology functions / resources to deliver business technical solutions or shared service
Oversees a sizeable and varied team of technology professionals (e.g., up to 50+ consisting of Application Developers, Solutions Designers, Business Systems Analysts, Specialists, and/or Project Managers) in the end to end delivery of complex projects, system enhancements / applications and/or application or service management
Directs/manages large-scale applications/ projects across multiple product lines/ businesses, involving significant scope and complexity
Understands strategic direction (including financials) and champions alliances to benefit the Bank and/or department
Advocates for operational improvements to enhance the divisions value to the organization
Education & Experience:
Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
Graduate degree, preferred
10+ years related experience
Expert knowledge of the business and bank technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications) from a strategic perspective and managing/ directing teams and projects

Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience in managing Enterprise Technology teams including strategy, design, development, and support.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, including developers, cloud architects, data engineers and business analysts.
Experience working with third-party vendors, particularly in implementing and optimizing large scale Pega and Azure applications.
Strong understanding of Pega Platform including development best practices, configuration and integration with external systems. (Pega CLM framework experience preferred).
Proficiency in defining technical roadmaps, decisions on technology stacks and guiding teams on best practices.
Proficiency in architecting, designing, and deploying applications in a cloud native environment particularly on Azure.
Strong understanding of RESTful architecture, microservices design patterns and best practices for API security.(e.g: OAuth2.0, JWT, SAML)
Proven experience designing, managing, and scaling data streaming pipelines using Kafka. Knowledge of topics, partitions, brokers, schemas and streams.
Strong understanding and delivery experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban and DevOps practices.
Good understanding of current regulatory environment and related implications to identity management, security and audit compliance.
