Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will perform both planned and unplanned maintenance, repair, and service for all manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures. You will support the production team in a cleanroom environment by using SolidWorks for projects, designing, and implementing manufacturing tools and fixtures to improve processes. Additionally, you will establish and maintain all maintenance procedures, records, and work orders, while also managing a spare parts program for all relevant equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, repair, and service on manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures.Support the production team in the cleanroom with SolidWorks projects and process improvement.Establish and maintain maintenance procedures, records, and work orders.Manage a spare parts program for all relevant equipment.Investigate and troubleshoot equipment problems and escalate when necessary.Become proficient in using management software for equipment maintenance.Support the Engineering team with tests and protocols.Perform facility maintenance for both Gateway and Design Center locations.Assist with safety audits and operations as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills:
5-7+ years of experience in a medical device manufacturing (regulated) industry.Proficiency in SolidWorks for designing small fixtures and tools.Experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.Proficient in using hand tools.Proven investigational and troubleshooting skills.Understanding of documentation requirements.Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work effectively in high-demand situations.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma, Associate degree, technical degree, or some college coursework desired.Experience in hands-on support at the facility.Work Environment:
This role operates primarily in a cleanroom environment. You will have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and play a critical role in the organization.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Burnsville, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $47.00/hr.
