From operating systems to zonal controllers to cloud and connectivity solutions, we’re addressing the challenges of electric vehicles through technology that will set the standards for software-defined vehicles around the world. The road to the future is uncharted. By combining our expertise across connectivity, AI, security and more, we’ll map a new way forward. Working together, we’ll create a future that’s more connected, more intelligent, more sustainable for everyone. Role Summary At RV Tech, we aren't just building products; we are architecting the future of automotive. We are seeking a Senior Manager of Strategic Communications to serve as a primary architect of both our internal and external narratives. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker and operator who can connect the dots across business units, culture, and storytelling. You will be the lead integrator for the communications function, ensuring our strategy is realized across every touchpoint. We are looking for someone who can zoom out to see the company-wide picture and then execute with surgical clarity. You will help us think in first principles to turn complex technical milestones into a clear, unified voice that resonates with our employees, our parent companies, and the industry at large. We value progress, not motion, and you will be instrumental in building the frameworks that allow our team to deliver world-class communications with speed and precision. This role reports directly to our Head of Communications and is located in Palo Alto, CA with a flexible working schedule. Responsibilities Strategic Orchestration: Bridge the gap between high-level business goals and cross-functional execution. You will partner with Internal Comms, Engineering, Product, and Legal to ensure our narrative is consistent and that communication workstreams are aligned across the global organization. Narrative Clarity: Articulate the “why” behind our technical and business strategies. You will translate sophisticated architecture and software milestones into compelling storytelling that builds internal pride and external brand equity. Operational Excellence: Help define and refine the “operating system” for how we communicate. You will build the processes, toolkits, and feedback loops that allow the team to move quickly, stay agile, and maintain a high bar for quality. External Engagement & Brand Integrity: Support the development of external-facing content and campaigns that elevate RV Tech’s profile in the industry. While working closely with the Head of Comms, you will help manage external company reputation and ensure a consistent voice across public channels. Employer Brand & Cultural Stewardship: Lead the intersection of employee engagement and brand reputation. You will help shape how our mission is lived internally, ensuring our identity as an innovator is a core part of our global employer brand. Performance & Impact: Establish the success measures that track the effectiveness of our communication strategies. You will move beyond vanity metrics to ensure our work is actually driving alignment and business clarity. High-Stakes Special Projects: Lead enterprise-level initiatives that require deep cross-functional collaboration—from organizational design communications to high-visibility global culture-building efforts. Qualifications Experience: 8–10+ years in communications, stakeholder engagement, or executive communications, preferably in a technology or joint venture environment. Experience should reflect a balance of both internal and external communication strategies. Influence: Proven ability to build alignment and influence without formal authority across complex organizational structures; a “no ego” collaborator who is willing to jump into projects at any level to ensure success. Trust & Transparency: Demonstrated success in fostering open, authentic communication among senior stakeholders. Reputation Management: Experience executing multi-channel communication strategies that align internal organizational values with external market positioning. Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences; a quick starter with fluency in creative suites (Canva, Adobe, etc.) to deliver high-fidelity content. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Media, Journalism or related field required; advanced degree a plus. Mindset: Strategic, proactive, and comfortable working in high-growth, dynamic and global settings with competing priorities; a “connect the dots” thinker who prioritizes progress over motion Pay Disclosure Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Palo Alto, California Based Applicants: $156,200 - $195,300 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
