The Sr. Manager, Service Sales is a strategic commercial leader responsible for guiding, developing, and elevating a high‑performing Service Sales team. This role requires demonstrated leadership experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to deliver sustained revenue growth across a complex, competitive region. This position reports to the Director of Service and Aftermarket Sales, Americas and is part of the Americas Service Delivery & Commercial Sales Organization located in the eastern United States and will be fully remote. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing Service Sales team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. + Build and execute a strategic and tactical growth plan to achieve sales targets and deliver profitable growth across the full service portfolio. + Ensure 100% forecasting accuracy for weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals across the assigned district. + Establish and maintain a strong, unified team environment, ensuring the expansion and retention of customer relationships across the region. + Continuously assess competitive and market dynamics to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and deploy effective countermeasures. + Partner cross‑functionally with Sales Administration, Finance, IT, HR, and Legal to ensure alignment, compliance, and operational excellence. + Develop and coach team members through regular performance reviews, feedback, and individualized development plans to strengthen career growth and succession readiness. The essential requirements of the job include: + 3–5+ years of successful experience in sales leadership, demonstrating capability in driving performance and developing talent. + Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Life Sciences or equivalent experience. + Strong organizational and time‑management skills, including the ability to gather, interpret, and present data clearly + Proven leadership experience managing and developing sales teams in a matrixed environment, demonstrating sustained performance and results. + Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and articulate SCIEX’s value proposition effectively + Demonstrated ability to assess competitive landscapes, interpret market conditions, and guide teams to achieve sales targets. + Experience with Life Science products, scientific instrumentation, or related markets; SCIEX software or hardware experience is a plus. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Travel by vehicle or airplane within assigned geography, up to 30-50% overnight travel may be required. + Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Ability to act as a resource for colleagues and lead small-scale projects, workshops or Kaizens to enhance sales processes and performance. The annual salary range for this role $120,000-130,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
