Sr. Manager, Platform Owners (Teamcenter Lead)

The Sr. Manager, Platform Owners (Management Path) is primarily responsible for leading platform management and optimization to ensure efficient operations and alignment with business needs. You will work closely with technical teams to drive improvements, ensure scalability, and support digital transformation. Specifics include:

• Oversee platform operations, ensuring systems meet business and performance requirements
• Lead efforts to enhance platform security, scalability, and integration with other systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements and drive continuous improvements
• Manage platform performance and identify areas for optimization and innovation
• Mentor and develop junior team members, ensuring alignment with platform strategies and goals
• Provide support for the implementation of new platform technologies and solutions
• Directly influence the operational performance and efficiency of digital platforms
• Ensure platform strategies align with business objectives and contribute to the overall digital transformation and optimization of business systems
• Make decisions on platform improvements, optimizations, and resource allocation within the team, working with senior leaders to ensure decisions align with broader organizational goals
• Collaborate with team members to address issues and implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Govern day‑to‑day production support operations for the enterprise Teamcenter platform within the CoE.Leading and coordinating L2 Teamcenter support teams, ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to CoE standards.Driving monthly/quarterly Teamcenter enhancements/release cycle based on business prioritization in coordination with DevOps and business facing IT.Defining, maintaining, and enforcing the support operating model, including escalation paths, support coverage and on-call processes, interaction models with business SME teams/business facing IT team and DevOps.Acting as the primary operational escalation lead for P1/P2 incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.Driving RCA for incidents & recurring issues and developing plans for remediationEnsuring compliance with internal IT, security, and quality standards (including regulated environments where applicable).

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs)The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in EnglishMinimum 8 –12+ Years of experience in Teamcenter Development/Operations/AdministrationExtensive hands‑on experience supporting Siemens Teamcenter (14 and above versions) infrastructure in production environments.Experience implementing and upgrading Teamcenter.Experience with deploying Teamcenter in n-tier environment.Knowledge in Med Device domain, and core Teamcenter functionality such as BOM mgmt., Part Mgmts., CAD Integrations, ERP Integrations, Classification, Med Device solution, Change Mgmt. etc.Experience in ITK, RAC, AWC development.Thorough understanding of Teamcenter architecture and administration.Experience in managing 5+ member team.Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.Exposure to ITSM, Agile processes.Experience in regulated industry (Medical devices) preferred.
