The Social Center of Excellence team is seeking a highly-motivated, social-savvy Sr. Paid Media Manager, Social Marketing to own a best-in-class customer experience, helping to drive sales and innovation across paid social campaigns spanning NAS categories (Beauty & Health, Fashion & Fitness, Home & Lifestyle, Luxury & Premium, etc.), Collections, Seasonal Events, and much more. As an avid social media user, this individual is knowledgeable in the latest social media trends and understands what goes into creating social-first campaigns that will drive overall resonance and sales. This role will have end-to-end ownership of campaigns from ideation to execution with a strong foundation in e-commerce best practices. You understand data workflows, customer segmentation, automation and personalization, e-comm and consumer marketing, and with a test and learn approach.
You will work closely with numerous internal and external teams to support key initiatives and events. This role will work autonomously yet enjoy collaboration, handle multiple large-scale initiatives, and deliver results that raise the bar. A successful candidate will be motivated by an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, have high quality standards, and be passionate about building new customer experiences.
This critical team member will demonstrate strong ownership and maintain clear and concise communication with all stakeholders. They are an excellent problem solver, identifying priorities, managing multiple work streams, anticipating and managing potential blockers to achieve goals and complete milestones. They thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
Key job responsibilities
• Bring proven creative, analytical, and strategic capabilities to imagine, develop, plan, implement, and optimize compelling campaigns that deliver results—thinking strategically and executing flawlessly.
• Contribute to campaign strategy by brainstorming with Organic Social and Paid Social teams to create content ideas that infuse trends and pop culture that will increase engagement.
• Partner alongside stakeholders to ensure content represents our brand identity and delivers on objectives.
• Keep up with the latest social media trends, formats, and ad types.
• Present concepts, creative deliverables, and learnings/insights in stakeholder reviews.
About the team
The newly created North American Stores (NAS) Marketing team helps customers discover and engage with new, popular and relevant products across retail categories. We do this by combining technology, science, innovation, marketing and creativity to build new customer-facing features and experiences. NAS is on a mission to make Amazon the most-loved shopping destination. We aspire to meet customers where they are with a steady drumbeat of inspiring, relevant, and automated content that builds upon recent shopping missions while also introducing new and timely ideas. We are looking for creative, customer-obsessed, curious and highly entrepreneurial leaders to join our new and exciting team.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid social network advertising (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, and more), and content distribution and placement networks. Experience in DTC and e-commerce products/services or Consumables Packaged Goods. Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Bachelor's Degree

- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Experience using customer research, data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of programs and working with cross-functionally across Vendor Managers, Product Management, Marketing, PR, Legal, and Research

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
