Description At AWS, the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) team drives cloud adoption and business growth through innovative pricing strategies. The organization comprises two specialized teams: Strategic Customer Engagements, which guide transformative deals with industry leaders, and Private Pricing Programs & Experiences, which scales and optimizes pricing solutions across our diverse customer base. Within GDSP, you will develop deep expertise in cloud economics, hone your strategic thinking, and directly impact AWS's market leadership while working with cutting-edge technologies and global clients.The Private Pricing Programs & Experiences (3PX) team, as part of the AWS Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization, is responsible for the Global Proposal Team and Private Pricing Program. As a Senior Manager in 3PX, you will mobilize cross-functional groups to drive highly visible initiatives. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver with a proven ability to identify and tackle gaps and opportunities through solutions that improve business outcomes, operational excellence and scalability. You are self-driven and innately curious, and can learn complex new subjects/landscapes quickly. You have strong judgment that enables you to ruthlessly prioritize based on business and customer needs, and also proactively raise risks and mitigations. You set clear desired outcomes and remain laser-focused on them, and through process and mechanisms also keep the broader group's focus on the target. You excel at management of stakeholders at all levels, and have excellent balance of backbone and influencing without authority. You are data-driven and habitually inspect to measure impact and drive continuous improvements. You continuously look for smarter ways to work inclusive of lean mechanisms and GenAI. Key job responsibilities 1. Proactively identify gaps and opportunities across the business and propose solutions 2. Drive key initiatives in priority areas of the business to deliver business outcomes, operational excellence and scalability 3. Manage stakeholders at all levels to drive vision through others and ensure attainment of common goal 4. Establish and drive debriefs/retros, xBRs and other measurement/inspection mechanisms to foster learnings and continuous improvements 5. Pioneer the integration of technology such as GenAI into existing operational workflows to invent and simplify workflows and/or uplevel the customer experience 6. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary degree in business or related field - 10+ years of experience driving product or program improvements in a B2B setting - 5+ years of team management experience Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated experience defining program requirements, managing resources, identifying/mitigating risks, and using data and metrics to determine improvements. - Stakeholder management skills (from entry level to senior execs) and experience leading diverse teams through highly visible, cross-functional initiatives - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) - Experience working with, and/or having knowledge of cloud computing and existing cloud technologies - Experience in Sales or Sales-supporting function Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $174,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
