Job responsibilities
Executes security solutions design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to apply knowledge of existing security solutions to satisfy security requirements for internal clients (e.g., product, platform, application owners)Creates secure architectures and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsFacilitates security requirements clarification for multiple networks to enable multi-level security to satisfy organizational needsWorks with stakeholders and senior business leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerabilityLeads delivery of continuity-related awareness, training, educational activities, and exercisesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on Security Engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceStrengths in coding in Java and Python programming languages Demonstrated skills working with AWSAdvanced knowledge of software application development and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Deep experience in software design and developmentExperience developing security engineering solutionsExperience using the Software Development Life CycleSolid understanding of agile methodologies and experience with CI/CD, application resiliency, and securitySkilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutionsAbility to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
