Sr. Investment Reporting Analyst
About the Role: As CBREInvestment Reporting Sr. Analyst, you will workclosely with the accounting team to finalize all performance returns and beable to leverage a strong financial background to complete quarterly tasks. In this role, you will be responsiblefor assisting with all financial and investment performance reporting for everyproperty assigned to you within the client portfolios. What You’ll Do: + Responsible for providing support for reporting all asset and portfolio performance (both Time-Weighted Returns & IRRs) to industry reporting associations, Portfolio Management, and all other business units. + Participate within NCREIF’s Reporting Standards Committee to stay informed of new Standards and be the firm’s liaison to communicating and adopting new standards and adhering to industry “Best Practices”. + Support performance reporting for each mandate/fund from inception through disposition, including setting up the return structure for all new acquisitions, using Yardi iPlus (Performance Module) to calculate, report, and maintain all investment performance. + Where applicable, assist in migrating historical investment performance returns from old reporting platform to Yardi’s Performance Platform. + Assist in collecting, managing and maintaining all internal performance-related data leveraging the firm’s reporting platforms, such as the Yardi Performance Module. + Help develop and maintain the mapping of all performance return components from income statements and balance sheets to the Yardi Performance Module. + Maintain and update the Performance Procedure Manual in accordance with the region’s Reporting Standards specific to the client/mandate. + Work closely with Portfolio Management to automate reporting to Clients, as well as, creating new reporting functionality to better improve performance transparency to Clients + Help develop and maintain framework for providing performance returns for RFPs and DDQs. When required, work with Product Management, CPM Team and Portfolio Management to respond to requests for Performance Data by asset, mandate or other requests. + Work closely with our team in Hyderabad by managing and developing quality control, validation reporting, and automation of performance reports. + In conjunction with the Data Strategy Team, maintain attributes for all assets in assigned Clients and Mandates to ensure accuracy and ability to build out RFPs and Track Records. What You’ll Need: • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 1-2 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. • 1-2 years experience with Yardi and Yardi Performance Module a plus. • Intermediate skills with excel (v-look ups, pivot tables) • SQL, VBA or Python experience a plus. • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. • Advanced math skills. The minimum salary for the Building Engineer position is $88,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Building Engineer is $110,000 annually.
