Job Description My client is looking for a Senior Project Manager (8+ years exp.) coming from an Infrastructure background. Example projects include: Splunk Modernization - refreshing our infrastructure to work with Splunk, this including migrating from old to new infrastructure to install Splunk. Another example is our database infrastructure is coming to end of life. We need to replace all the database platforms, then migrate all applications and clients over. Other generic projects include database projects, backup and storage projects, server infrastructure projects, operating systems project, cloud, etc. • The Project managers will be managing 3-5 projects simultaneously and will be meeting with the business on a regular basis Strong Project Management experience is needed to be successful in this role. Compensation: $65/hr - $78/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements The purpose of the Senior Project Manager job is to ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery. The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and monitor larger sized scope and budget projects with a high degree of complexity and risk. The Project Manager will partner with key business stakeholders to ensure a successful start-up and completion of a project. Projects can span multiple business units or functional areas. The Project Manager is expected to work under minimal supervision with oversight provided by the Project Delivery Leader within the organization. MUST HAVES: Must be onsite in Alpharetta, GA, or Berkeley Heights, NJ or Marietta, GA – onsite 5 days a week. Core infrastructure experience Database Knowledge Experience working in a large corporation that understands a matrix environment (you aren’t fully dedicated to 1 project and split time on multiple projects with competing priorities). 8 years or more as a Project Manager Strong Project Management skills PMP certification Experience with a Splunk modernization project Experience with a database end of life project Technical understanding of Systems engineering or previous work as a System/Infrastructure Engineer
