DEU Human Resources Specialist | Pay: 100k - 120k/yr | Remote with Restrictions to DC, MD and VA
Job Description
The HR Specialist will support high-profile, fast-paced, and high-volume Delegated Examining (DE) and Merit Promotion (MP) recruitment activities for a federal agency. This role involves performing all recruitment activities through an electronic recruitment framework, maintaining regulatory requirements, and executing tasks from management advisory to completing Entry on Duty (EOD) activities.
Responsibilities
Perform job analysis, develop assessment questionnaires, and document evaluation criteria in accordance with agency requirements.Review and adjudicate Veterans' Preference and applicant qualifications for the full range of agency occupations.Provide written justification for qualification assessments.Support the Quality Control (QC) process by reviewing work products and providing constructive corrections and recommendations for improvement.Review job analyses, assessment questionnaires, Job Opportunity Announcements (JOA), ratings, and certificates.Conduct staffing activities within various databases, including the electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (eQIP) system.Essential Skills
DEU certification and recent experience working in a DEU environment.6+ years of federal staffing experience, including job analysis, assessment questionnaires, posting job announcements on USA Jobs or using USA Staffing, performing qualifications adjudications, and issuing selection certificates.Experience performing staffing duties with USA Staffing.Ability to obtain and maintain the government-required security clearance and clear a credit check.Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS/BA degree highly preferred.Master's degree required or Bachelor's degree with additional years of experience.USA Staffing (USAS) Upgrade is required.Work Environment
The position is based in Washington DC, ideally for individuals open to onsite work, but local remote candidates may be considered if they can attend important meetings onsite when needed. Candidates must live in the DMV area. The role offers 1 week of PTO and holiday pay.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/hr.
