As a Technical FP&A M&A Operations Sr. Analyst, reporting directly to the Sr. Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis processes related to M&A transactions. You will work closely with various departments to provide financial insights, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making. Additionally, as the Technical BI Analyst, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the collaboration and reporting infrastructure needed to support consistent, scalable insights across all M&A transactions within the Multi-Deal Dashboard environment. This individual will play a pivotal role in configuring and managing key systems including Microsoft Teams, Excel-based Integration Management Office (IMO) workbooks, and Power BI assets. They will work across deal teams to provision environments, implement data infrastructure, and troubleshoot reporting issues — enabling seamless and repeatable delivery of deal-specific insights. This role also directly supports M&A Finance by enabling accurate financial reporting, integration budget tracking, and synergy analysis across the lifecycle of a deal through automated reporting infrastructure and dynamic dashboarding. This role is essential for organizations striving to harmonize reporting processes across numerous transactions and require scalable business intelligence tools with advanced customization flexibility. Candidates must have strong Power BI experience and a pragmatic mindset for diagnosing and resolving system-level gaps across interconnected tools. **What You'll Do:** M&A Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) + Financial Planning and Analysis: + Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning. + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, variance analysis, and performance reports. + Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into business performance. + Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, highlighting variances and providing explanations. + Support the annual budgeting process through data gathering, consolidation, and analysis. + Assist in the development of presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders. + Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. + Reporting and Analysis: + Prepare and distribute timely and accurate financial reports, dashboards, and presentations. + Analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. + Develop and maintain financial databases and reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data. + Budgeting and Forecasting: + Assist in preparing and reviewing project-based budgets and forecasts. + Partner with department leads to gather budget inputs and assumptions. + Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing explanations and recommendations. + Develop and maintain forecasting models, incorporating historical data, future projections, and scenario planning. + Process Improvement: + Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency. + Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and tools. + Proactively seek ways to enhance financial analysis and reporting capabilities. + Support M&A Finance Activities: + Maintain dashboards and data pipelines to ensure timely, accurate reporting for forecasting, budgeting, and synergy tracking across deals. + Assist with Financial Integration Analytics: + Support the Sr. Finance Manager and Integration Management Office (IMO) in tracking deal and integration budgets, actuals, and synergy metrics for executive reporting and decision-making. Deal Dashboard Management + Collaboration & Access Management: Provision and configure Microsoft Teams sites for new deals; manage and maintain security, permissions, and user access across Teams and SharePoint; train deal leads on self-service provisioning. + Configure and Maintain IMO Workbooks: Set up standard Excel workbooks with validations, protections, and formatting; troubleshoot formula or structure issues and implement downstream adaptations for deviations from the standard model. + Develop and Support Power BI Assets: Build and maintain Power BI datasets, dataflows, semantic models, and dashboards; manage transformations to support non-standard workbook structures; implement advanced features (e.g., star schema modeling, drill-through pages, field parameters); and embed dashboards in SharePoint with dynamic filtering and row-level security. + Automate and Troubleshoot Data Operations: Configure scheduled refreshes using Power Automate as needed; resolve data and connectivity issues, communicate root causes clearly, and deliver rapid customizations based on stakeholder feedback. **What You'll Need:** To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily.
