Sr. Food Product Developer (Not Software Related)

Description

Execute and lead multiple complex projects concurrently, across more than one program or channel business. Utilize business and customer insights to create relevant products that tie to broader strategies and company goals, with an awareness of the impacts to other initiatives.Develop project work plans and cross-functional timelines, manage project information, and proactively assess and adjust for potential risks.Autonomously apply technical knowledge and project learnings to manage commercialization and manufacturing at scale for a large variety of beverage ingredients. Use processing knowledge to solve problems and achieve project goals. Create processing and product specifications and ensure that products and processes meet initial quality assurance, safety and risk assessment requirements.Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to bring products to market, including the identification of potential new suppliers or raw materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

BS/MS in Food Science or other related fields.Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in food and beverage innovation/product development, bench-top to full scale commercialization and process improvement or development.Strong knowledge and experience in product development and manufacturing of food and beverage products (coffee products preferred).

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
