Sr. Financial Analyst, Manufacturing Supply Chain

Make It Uniquely Yours.** You will perform detailed finance work, transactions, and data structuring under the guidance of the Senior Finance Manager. You will collect data, be responsible for maintaining information integrity, monitor reconciliations and conduct basic checks and controls. **How you will contribute** You will: + Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling, and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelēz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will also execute data collection and data integrity checks. + Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies. + Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by the Senior Finance Manager (or Director) + Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement. + Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will bring experience and knowledge in: + TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial planning and performance management including analyzing, planning, and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and strategy development, investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets. + BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and snacking market including Supply Chain/manufacturing dynamics. Relevant experience in a large regional (or global) corporation. + LEADERSHIP SKILLS including proven business partnering, influencing and communication skills across a large regional or global, public company; experience working as a finance leader managing cross-functional and business partner teams to make decisions and drive results. + GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and ability to identify opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. + INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations. **Main responsibilities:** + Support the Plant Controller with the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. + Support the monthly closing process for manufacturing financials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. + Provide financial analysis and insights to support capital investment decisions, cost reduction initiatives, and product development projects. + Conduct financial variance analysis, identifying causes of unexpected variances and recommending corrective actions. + Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and analysis for cross-functional projects. + Maintain a strong internal controls environment to ensure accuracy of financial data and safeguarding of company assets. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. + A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting within a manufacturing environment. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform complex data analysis, build financial models, and create dynamic reports. + Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. + Demonstrated ability to use financial software and ERP systems (SAP). + Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. + A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail. **Location:** Chicago Plant 7300 S Kedzie Ave Chicago, IL 60629 The first three months the employee will be required to work onsite 5 days per week. After that, the employee will switch to a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 remote. The base salary range for this position is $95,100 to $130,800; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
