Sr. Financial Analyst, International Expansion of Account Management, Amazon Ads
Description Amazon Ads Finance seeks a strategic Senior Financial Analyst to be the primary Finance partner to the Account Management leadership team supporting emerging locales. We are a dynamic team supporting Ads Sales leaders at the heart of transforming how brands connect with customers, leveraging world-class technologies to shape the next generation of advertising. Key job responsibilities 1. Develop comprehensive short and long-term revenue forecasts for the Account Management (AM) org supporting emerging locales 2. Collaborate closely AM leadership across multiple locales to develop and implement strategies 3. Conduct detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reviews 4. Strategically optimize and prioritize investments across locales, industry verticals, and advertiser segments A day in the life Your day will be a blend of strategic financial planning, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. You'll engage with leadership, analyze complex financial landscapes, and develop forward-thinking financial strategies that support Amazon Ads' growth for our Account Management team in emerging locales. About the team We are a global, interconnected team supporting Amazon Ads' expansion across multiple continents. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience - 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
