**Job Title:** Sr. Facilities Maintenance Specialist
**Location:** Fremont, CA
**Pay Range: up to $33 per hour**
**Shift: 6 pm to 6 am**
**What's the Job?**
+ Inspect completed work for compliance with local building and safety codes.
+ Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing facilities.
+ Address issues such as leaks, electrical outages, plumbing, or HVAC inefficiencies.
+ Monitor systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and alarms.
+ Coordinate with contractors and outside service providers for specialized tasks.

**Role and Responsibilities**
+ Inspects completed work for performance with requirements of local building and safety codes
+ Performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on buildings for manufacturing facilities.
+ Must be able to address issues such as leaks, electrical outages, plumbing or HVAC inefficiencies
+ Will monitor systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and alarms.
+ Ensures fire safety systems are functional and compliant
+ Keep records of daily inspections and have the ability to understand building maintenance system
+ Paint, patch walls, and assists with office moves or furniture repairs, and flooring maintenance
+ Coordinate with contractors and outside service providers
+ Prioritizes daily activities and work order scheduling.
+ Keeps management informed on progress and delays of all preventive maintenance work orders, related jobs, and other repair activities to ensure good customer service.
+ Interacts courteously with the staff, vendors and public; maintains effective working relationships
+ Creates P.O.’s PR’s for materials and supplies using established guidelines and procedures as required.
+ Participates in safety training and meetings and uses safe working practices at all times.
+ Responds to emergencies as requests activities and repairs.
+ Inspects completed work for performance with requirements of local building and safety codes.
+ Executes on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Skills and Experience:**
+ 5 + years equivalent of proven facilities experience
+ Must have a reliable car and a valid driver’s license. Driving between buildings is required.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Able to work efficiently with cross functional team
+ Ability to multitask and have the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
+ Ability to understand and resolve facilities issues independently
+ Good computer and communication skills (written, verbal, and active listening)
+ Highly motivated self-starter, capable of self-management with little to no oversight
+ Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships
+ **Strong requirement** to have knowledge of MS Office including Power Point, Excel, and Word
