Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician who will ensure the safe and reliable operation of high-volume manufacturing equipment. The role involves diagnosing and resolving mechanical and basic electrical issues, mentoring fellow technicians, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. This hands-on, fast-paced role is pivotal to meeting quality and output goals in a regulated medical device environment.
Responsibilities
+ Diagnose and resolve mechanical and basic electrical issues on manufacturing equipment.
+ Mentor and provide guidance to fellow technicians.
+ Drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.
+ Collaborate with the team to meet quality and output goals.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ 1+ year of team leadership, mentorship, or lead-tech responsibilities.
+ Fluency in reading mechanical and electrical prints and schematics.
+ Hands-on troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems and basic electrical systems on production equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate, train, and work with diverse personalities.
+ Safety-first approach with comfort in giving and receiving in-the-moment feedback.
+ Experience in the medical device or regulated industry is a nice to have.
Work Environment
The position operates on the 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM (four 10-hour shifts). The role involves working on a manufacturing floor as the technician within a team of 15 other technicians. The work environment is centered around the design and manufacturing of cardiac pacemakers. Appropriate attire includes long pants, boots, and PPE. This is a contract-to-hire position opened due to growing production demands in the medical device industry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
