Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure on-time delivery of technology maturation projects to perform stated test missions within accuracy expectations.Management of a team of people covering several engineering disciplines supporting technology maturation projects. Provide leadership and technical direction for assigned program tasks and personnel.Establish work group goals within framework of section technical and financial objectives. Define roles and responsibilities for assigned personnel.Maintain broad awareness of efforts within group to assure technical quality excellence, timely completion of work and reviews, appropriate use of resources, and responsiveness to customer / program needs.Identify need for technical and program reviews within the organization; Lead technical reviews and participate as a reviewer. Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements, schedules, and contract commitments. Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments as appropriate.Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Bachelor’s or Advanced degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, preferably in Electrical / Computer engineering.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technical or Engineering leadership position.Minimum of 5 years of experience or interest in multiple electrical/ computer engineering disciplines like signal processing, data acquisition, circuit design (analog and digital), microprocessors, radiofrequency (RF) design/ analysis, embedded electrical systems, and/or data acquisition hardware.Eligibility Requirements
